Disk 1, Waltz, is basically all the Waltz moves from the Lampert's 4 disk BALLROOM Series.
If you've rented those disks - 1, 2, 3a, and 3b - then you've seen and done these Waltz moves already. If you haven't, and just want to learn Waltz, start here.
This is very-very-very plain instruction and very much "beginner" dancing in it's look and feel. It doesn't tell you much about how to do things - you just have to get with a partner and step it out as you follow what they show you; very much like any beginner dance class...
Seriously, most "How to" disks aim too high and much time is spent on "the look." No time wasted on "looks" here - it's just "step here and go there" instruction.
Coffee helps, along with patience, and, a few good slow and obvious Waltz songs to practice to - like many Country Western Waltzes. Save the "dreamy" ballroom music for when you're past the beginner stage; walk before you run...
Not pretty dancing, but "good enough" for many venues (weddings, church dances, etc.) outside of "Dancing with the Stars."
