A very nice disk that follows the Bronze disc by continuing even the numbering system from the first disc. The teaching here is first rate and it’s helped greatly by – as explained in the introduction – the selection of music to go with the instruction as it moves by section to the last patterns. I wish they had put musical credits on the disc, but…

Much of the material seems complicated, as the “move” descriptions on the disc get longer and longer, but most of each move or pattern has many elements already learned so it’s really only the newest part you need to worry about. Fortunately, you don’t really need to “worry” much because everything is covered very well in the discussions and illustrations – and there are many “dance demos” as well.

You’ll do a lot of rewinding in learning some of these patterns, but that’s to be expected. And, besides, we took a lot of what is presented here as “ideas” for how to dance and studied only the ones we liked most – it would take years for most “normal” people to learn all that’s here – but you can learn a lot just by studying and trying here and there.

This entire series makes for great rentals. You can see, hear, and learn a lot of Tango just by watching and listening. Then you can rent or buy what you might reasonably do and focus on those things with confidence. But, it will be hard to decide – it’s like picking two or three puppies out of ten – you just can’t do everything. Worth trying, just the same...
